Hiscox UK Graduate Programme 2020
Hiscox Graduate Programme
Our business graduate scheme runs for 27 months and gives you breadth of experience through rotations across the business. On this programme there will be up to six rotations that are between three and six months in length, most of these will take place in the UK and potentially one rotation will be in one of our international locations.
Risk & Compliance Graduate. Location – London
You’ll spend time in different teams in both Risk and in Compliance, gaining in-depth of knowledge of the risk, regulatory and legal environment in which we operate. In the Compliance team, you’ll learn to be reactive to government and regulators’ change in policy and how to translate this into real business actions. In the Risk team, you’ll learn how to manage enterprise risk, scan the horizon for emerging risks and support the Boards in key strategic decision making. This year, some of the topics that the Risk and Compliance teams have looked include the implications of geopolitical and macroeconomic forces such as Brexit, climate change changes to governments, the impact of shifting trade relations and volatility in financial markets.
Applicants to the graduate programme are expected to:
- Meet the minimum education requirements for the programme.
- Be mobile for the duration of the scheme (27 months).
- Be able to speak and write fluently in business English, be numerate, and demonstrate interpersonal skills.
- Be available to join the programme in September 2020.
